Biography
Richard Levy (MD, PhD) is Head of FRONTlab at Paris Brain Institute. He is Professor of Neurology at the Faculty of Medicine of the Université Pierre et Marie-Curie-Paris 6 and Head of the Neurology Department at the Hospital Saint-Antoine (Paris). He trained in science in the laboratory of Prof. Yves AGID where he completed a thesis on the functional anatomy of the basal ganglia before moving towards cognition and behaviour. He completed a post-doctoral fellowship in Pr. Patricia GOLDMAN-RAKIC at Yale. His research has since focused on the role of the frontal lobe in goal-directed behaviours.
