This is any information relating to a natural person likely to be identified, directly or indirectly: (e.g. name, registration no., telephone no., photograph, date of birth, commune of residence, fingerprint...).

Why collect your data?

The personal data collected by Paris Brain Institute allows us to:

1. To respond to your requests for contact, information, documentation, and newsletters.
2. To ensure high-quality management of our relationships with donors, bequesters, potential donors, and potential bequesters, and to ensure the proper administrative handling of donations and bequests.
3. To better target our charitable outreach and fundraising campaigns and to follow up on them.
4. To respond to your requests to exercise your rights.

Paris Brain Institute only communicates the data it collects to its internal departments as well as to its service providers and their staff with regard to the performance of the services entrusted to them and which they must carry out on behalf of the Institut du Cerveau.

All persons having access to your data are authorized and bound by an obligation of confidentiality.

Unless you object,Paris Brain Institute may share data relating to its donors or prospective donors with charitable organizations and enrichment service providers.

How long will your data be stored?

We will keep your personal data for no longer than is necessary for the purposes set out in point 2 or as required by applicable law.

Data collected by cookies is kept for a maximum of 13 months.

What are the legal foundations?

The legal basis for processing the data collected from you is :

• legal obligation, depending on the circumstances of the data collection.

How to exercise your rights?

In accordance with the European Regulation of April 27, 2016 (RGPD) and the amended French Data Protection Act of January 6, 1978, you can exercise your right to access, rectify, delete and object to the data we collect, at any time. In addition, you may also define directives concerning the conservation, deletion and communication of your personal data after your death.

We ensure that we retain your personal data for no longer than is necessary for the purposes set out above and in accordance with applicable law, where applicable.

Data collected following a request to exercise a right is retained for a maximum of 6 years from the date of our response to your request.
