Open Brain Bar meetings

A moment to share with researchers from Paris Brain Institute

Last update: 28/09/2024 Reading time: 1min

Paris Brain Institute is unique in that it brings together researchers, doctors, engineers, start-ups, mathematicians and biologists in a single ecosystem, all working together to accelerate discoveries about how the brain works, so as to combat neurological diseases (psychiatric, traumatic, neurogenerative, etc.) more effectively.

Open Brain Bar concept

Open Brain Bar concept

The brain is as fascinating as space.

What are the latest advances in research into diseases of the nervous system? What mysteries does our head hold? How do we make (good) decisions? What happens in our brains when we fall in love? Is everyone cut out to be an entrepreneur? Why don't we always remember our dreams? And what are they good for? How are we influenced by advertising? What is burn-out and how can we avoid it? These are just some of the questions the Open Brain Bar aims to answer.

Paris Brain Institute ambition is simple: to stimulate curiosity, sharing and exchange. To achieve this, Paris Brain Institute is innovating by organising a recurring event: the Open Brain Bar, friendly meetups organised every two months dedicated to medical innovation and the future of health. The aim of these events is to enable curious and committed members of the public to understand the implications of science for their everyday lives.

The concept? One evening, one bar, one drink and some fascinating speakers!
