Semaine du Cerveau

An international event

Last update: 05/10/2024 Reading time: 1min

Organised every year in March since 1999, Brain Week is an international event, held simultaneously in around a hundred countries and over 120 towns in France, designed to raise public awareness of the importance of brain research.

La Semaine du Cerveau

La Semaine du Cerveau : an international event for neuroscience

The event is an opportunity for numerous volunteer researchers⸱ses, doctors and students⸱es to meet the public and share with them the advances made in neuroscience research laboratories, and to present the issues involved in understanding the brain and the implications for our society.

Since it was founded, Paris Brain Institute has been working hard every year to open the doors of its laboratories and showcase the research carried out on a daily basis by passionate men and women. These researchers are also coming to meet the public to tell them about their work on the most important and mysterious organ of all, the brain.

The programme for this annual event includes lectures, round-table discussions, laboratory visits, experiments and more - something to delight young and old alike.
