Professor Gérard SAILLANT, President of Paris Brain Institute, extends his warmest wishes to all those who, by faithfully supporting the research carried out at the institute, enable us to make a tangible difference in our fight against brain diseases. Accompanied by Prof. Stéphanie DEBETTE - the new Executive Director -, Gérard SAILLANT reflects in a video on the key achievements of 2024 and the ambitious plans for 2025.

2024 : A year rich in discoveries

From participation in a multicenter study demonstrating the value of an anti-diabetic agent in the treatment and stabilization of Parkinson's disease, to the demonstration of the efficacy of antisense oligonucleotides in the treatment of very rare and hereditary forms of Charcot's disease, to the acquisition of the latest generation - 7 Tesla MRI scanner, 2024 has been a year marked by major accomplishments for neuroscience research.

 

2025  : A pivotal year after 15 years of progress

2025 marks the 15th anniversary of the Institute, 15 years of advances, discoveries, and innovations in the fight against brain diseases, benefiting thousands of patients and their families.
The year 2025 will be marked by a particularly ambitious momentum, led by Stéphanie DEBETTE, the new Executive Director of Paris Brain Institute. An internationally renowned neurologist and epidemiologist, Stéphanie DEBETTE took up her post on January 1.
