The ICM.QUANT (Quantitative Molecular and Cellular Imaging) platform is specialized in microscopy. It makes available to academic researchers and industrial players a very wide range of imaging technologies.
Presentation of the platform
It is organized around two poles: light microscopy and electron microscopy. For light microscopy various techniques allowing to observe dynamic or non-dynamic events at different resolutions for samples ranging from the cell to the whole organism. For electron microscopy it is conventional transmission technology allowing the observation of subcellular components.
The activities of ICM Quant staff include the design of experimental procedures, training, assistance and assistance with qualitative and quantitative analysis of images.
ICM.Quant is a member of the LUMIC network (IBiSA) of Sorbonne University.

The ICM Quant (Quantitative Molecular and Cellular Imaging) platform is at the heart of the Institute’s neuroscience research. For several years, it has implemented robust quality practices that are integrated into all of its activities.
Even before its certification process, the platform had a fully operational QMS, guaranteeing the consistency and traceability of its processes. The initial audit, carried out in 2025, confirmed the soundness of this system and the rigour of its operation.
The achievement of ISO 9001 certification (international reference standard for quality management systems) confirms this excellence. It validates the platform's ability to provide reliable, reproducible services that meet the highest standards of scientific research.
