The association La Généreuse, founded by Laurent de Bernède, has the mission of raising funds to support charitable causes by organising sporting and cultural events. In 2025, she wanted to join Olivier Goy’s fight for ALS research at Paris Brain Institute.
La Généreus du Morbihan in May 2025: a solidarity regatta in Brittany
The first event organized by La Généreuse, La Généreuse du Morbihan 2025, will be held from May 22 to 24, 2025 at the port of Crouesty, Brittany. The objective of this exceptional regatta is to raise funds for medical research on ALS (Charcot’s disease), in partnership with the Institut du Cerveau.
Organized on a unique model in competitive sailing, La Généreuse du Morbihan is the first charity regatta that engages crews to raise funds from their entourage and allows them to be rewarded with quality prizes. This model of viral and playful engagement makes La Généreuse du Morbihan 2025 a unique event in France.
Crews mobilized on land and at sea
This event is supported by Olivier Goy, a figure committed to the recognition of disability and the funding of medical research, as well as by the association Les Invincibles.
Organised in partnership with the department of Morbihan, the municipality of Arzon, Port du Crouesty and the Yacht Club Crouesty Arzon, the regatta is also sponsored by the prestigious Yacht Club de France.
Each competing regatta crew mobilises their supporters to raise funds for research – more than 5000 euros have already been raised by the regatta sailors – in parallel with a charity dinner planned for 23 May 2025 at the Yatch Club de France du Crouesty.
In addition to the competition, cultural and educational activities are offered, including the free screening of the film Invincible été at the cinema du Crouesty during the three days of the regatta.
Exceptional sea trips are also available, as on board the Cape hornian sailing ship Neptune.
This programme aims to raise public awareness of the importance of supporting people with disabilities and their families.
