Invincibles ensemble!: the growing success of a solidarity concert for ALS research

On Wednesday 15 October 2025, the mythical stage of the Olympia hosted the concert “Invincibles ensemble!” for its second edition. Twenty artists have mobilized to fight amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), also known as Charcot’s disease.

Worn by the commitment of Olivier Goy, ambassador of the Institut du Cerveau and sponsor of the association ‘ Les Invincibles ’, Ludovic Besombes and John Scala, also affected by the disease and co-founders of the association ‘ Les Invincibles ’, as well as Nicolas Santi-Weil, CEO of AMI and founder of the French Parade label, this initiative was born out of the desire to raise public awareness and accelerate research against amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS or Charcot disease). With the success of the first edition in 2024, they have once again surrounded themselves with a team of dedicated volunteers to take on this year’s challenge of solidarity.

Artistic mobilization

As in the first edition, the evening was hosted by journalist Ophélie Meunier and comedian Philippe Caverivière.

The stage welcomed the artists who had already come to support the cause in 2024 – such as Aliocha Schneider, Pierre de Maere, Mentissa, Julien Granel, Emma Peters and Anne Sila or Voyou – but also new and eagerly awaited headliners. The audience had the pleasure of discovering the performances of Anjaa, I am Roze, Linh, Marguerite, Marie-Flore, Miki, Sam Sauvage, Styleto, Suzane, Waxx, Yael Naim and Yoa. All volunteered their talents, contributing to the magic of a festive and moving evening.

The emotion was palpable with the appearance on stage of Olivier Goy, surrounded by his wrestling companions, Ludovic Besombes and John Scala. Their presence was a powerful reminder of the reality of the disease and the strength of solidarity.

Science and Hope at the Heart of the Evening

A key moment was the intervention of Dr. Maria Del Mar Amador, neurologist and researcher at the Brain Institute as part of the team ‘ DécodALS  causes of ALS and mechanisms of motor neuronal degeneration ’ accompanied by Professor Gérard Saillant, Honorary President of the Brain Institute, to whom Olivier Goy paid a tribute for his pioneering commitment in the creation and development of the Brain Institute. Maria Del Mar Amador presented not only what ALS is, but also the promising advances in research on this disease, which is still incurable today.

All funds returned to research

Funds from ticket sales, donations and sales of goodies will be donated to the Brain Institute in support of ALS research.

The event will be repeated again by the M6 group, allowing those who were unable to attend to experience this extraordinary evening.

The Institut du Cerveau wishes to express its heartfelt thanks to Olivier Goy for his invaluable support, to Ludovic Besombes and John Scala and to Nicolas Santi-Weil, as well as to all the artists, volunteers of the association “ Les Invincibles ” and partners without whom this beautiful demonstration of solidarity would not be possible.

DecodALS: ALS causes and mechanisms of motor neuron degeneration

The team led by Séverine BOILLEE is interested in the mechanisms that induce motoneuron degeneration in ALS and that may result from a deleterious interaction between these neurons and microglial and macrophage cells (immune system cells).
