Recognised as a leader in the field of translational research for brain disorders, Institut du Cerveau - ICM provides powerful expertise to patients by capitalizing on 650 international researchers, cutting-edge core facilities and by it’s rooting in the largest Neurology practice in France. Institut du Cerveau - ICM is expanding it’s international breadth by participating to the “French Tech Ticket” with iPEPS, its dedicated bio-incubator.

 

 

 "IPEPS-Institut du Cerveau - ICM welcomes companies developing new drugs as well as medical devices, such as new EEG headsets, wearables and more. The structure also helps startups developing new diagnostic solutions in order to treat diseases earlier, including "digital health" tools such as video games, helping to maintain elders autonomous... Here again, our vivid environment is a source of partnerships and creativity at the service of patients, " Alexis Genin, Head of Research and Technology Development.

 

Paris “French Tech Ticket” is a booster for France entrepreneurship, aiming at attracting investors and foreign entrepreneurs. As part of the program, 70 start-ups will be hosted and coached for one year in the best French incubators, and will benefit a financial support of 45,000 euros per project to cover business expenses.

iPEPS, Institut du Cerveau - ICM’s dedicated bio-incubator, joined to program to offer it’s help to new and innovative projects, in the field of biotech, medtech, and digital health, to the benefit of patients with neurological disorders.

 

“By integrating the iPEPS, the selected candidates will be able to benefit from high value-added services, "industrial" and financial means, allowing them to accelerate the transformation of their ideas into products.". Julien Elric, Start-up Manager.

Interested candidates can apply online (http://www.frenchtechticket.com), the selection stage will take place in the autumn before welcoming the winners starting January 2017. The candidates can apply to three incubators in order of preference.
