"Latam fingers, a regional approach to dementia prevention in latin america"

This presentation will describe the design and objectives of LatAm FINGERS, a multidomain intervention study conducted across 12 Latin American countries to prevent cognitive decline and dementia in at-risk older adults. Grounded in the FINGERS model, the study is tailored to address region-specific risk factors—such as low educational attainment, high rates of vascular risk, and socioeconomic inequalities. By contextualizing global evidence to local realities, LatAm FINGERS aims to generate scalable strategies for dementia prevention in one of the world’s most vulnerable regions.

Hosted by Lara MIGLIACCIO & Nicolas VILLAIN.
