As a clinical neurologist with a PhD in neuroscience, she is particularly interested in bringing new MRI technical developments to study the pathophysiologic mechanisms of multiple sclerosis (MS), with a particular focus on cortical pathology, quantitative markers of demyelination/remyelination and neuroinflammation. Since 2015, she has been the Medical Coordinator of the Centre for Clinical Research in Neuroscience (CIC Neuroscience) at Paris Brain Institute, conducting more than 80 clinical trials in the field of neuroscience. Since 2018, she has also co-ordinated with Professor Gilles Edan (Rennes, FR) the national clinical research network on MS FCRIN4MS. In line with this clinical research experience, this research has recently focused on the development of translational clinical trials in remyelination strategies, and the development of a multimodal approach to stratifying MS patient cohorts.
Since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemics, she has initiated and coordinated the French COVISEP registry to characterize the clinical outcomes and severity of COVID-19 in MS patients.
