Eric Besson, the minister of industry

In the context of the second week of industry, Eric Besson, the minister of industry visited the site of Institut du Cerveau - ICM.

Created after the Etats Généraux of Industry in 2010 this event allows, thus, industry to meet the French and, more specifically young people, to show the variety of its activities and its trades. The idea is to suppress set ideas on industry by “opening the doors of industry to general public”.

This week of industry is a great opportunity to valorize our industrial patrimony and give our fellow-citizens the liking for innovation”.

Institut du Cerveau - ICM being a pioneer model of translational research, linked with companies, which allows to develop more quickly innovations in diagnosis and treatment.

The aim of the visit was to check on the stage of research and the industrial applications in the field of neurodegenerative diseases.
