On November 23rd, the association Amour, Amour, Amour once again demonstrated its commitment to brain tumor research. During the association's annual event, its members presented a cheque for €100,000 to the Paris Brain Institute, marking yet another significant step in their exemplary mobilization.
Founded in 2020 in memory of Julien, who passed away from a brain tumor at the age of 26, the association's mission is to raise funds and donate them entirely to the Paris Brain Institute. Its name, inspired by the words "Amour, Amour, Amour" printed on Julien's favorite t-shirt, symbolizes hope, solidarity, and love—the driving forces behind its founders and supporters.
An Outstanding Mobilization
In just four years, AAA has already achieved:
- €340,000 donated to the Paris Brain Institute
- Over 4,900 fundraising products sold
- Over 20 sports and charity events organized
These concrete actions demonstrate the association's unwavering determination to support research and assist all those affected by the disease. Every product sold and every event organized contributes to strengthening the Paris Brain Institute resources for better understanding and treating brain tumors.
A Night Full of Exchanges
During the event, attendees had the opportunity to engage directly with the Paris Brain Institute researchers. Emmanuelle Huillard and Marc Sanson, co-leaders of the "Genetics and Brain Tumour Development" team, were present alongside Francesca Branzoli, Linda Senaoui, and Lisa Salhi, three researchers involved in innovative projects aimed at understanding brain tumor mechanisms and developing new therapeutic approaches.
The discussions highlighted the progress made thanks to AAA's support, as well as the ambitious projects for the future. Through accessible and educational explanations, the researchers shared their passion and determination to accelerate progress in improving patient care.
Corinne Fortin, Secretary General of the Paris Brain Institute, also took the opportunity to warmly thank the association’s members for their generosity and continued commitment. She emphasized the importance of support like that of Amour, Amour, Amour in funding essential research projects that directly benefit patients.
This new contribution of €100,000 will enable the continuation and expansion of research efforts led by the team dedicated to brain tumors, while also exploring new avenues to better understand and combat these complex diseases.
A Symbol of Hope
The work carried out by the association goes beyond fundraising. Through its initiatives, it means a message of hope and solidarity for all those affected, directly or indirectly, by brain cancer. By combining charitable, sporting, and creative actions,
AAA brings together a growing community around its cause, promoting the values of mutual support and love that drive its work.
With this event, the association once again confirms its long-term commitment to the Paris Brain Institute. Through meaningful projects and infectious energy, it inspires many people to take action alongside them. Together, let us continue this wave of solidarity to make faster progress in the fight against brain tumors and all brain-related diseases.
We would like to express our sincere thanks to Amour, Amour, Amour and all its members for their invaluable support and unwavering commitment to our cause.
