Retour à la recherche

Each year, more than 1,000 scientists from around the world gather at the Society For Neuroscience (SFN) conference to learn about new advances in the field and share their works. In 2022, this congress will be held from November 12 to 16 in San Diego: Paris Brain Institute will be present.

The International Congress of the Society for Neuroscience, the world's largest organization of scientists and clinicians whose work is dedicated to the brain and nervous system, brings together the world's leading experts every year. In 2022, the event, entitled "Neuroscience 2022," will be held in San Diego from November 12-16 in a hybrid face-to-face and remote version.

Paris Brain Institute has answered the call and will be present at the event to exhibit its work.

Several researchers, doctors and students from Paris Brain Institute will present their research results during the conference in the format that is essential for this type of event: posters. These large format posters are displayed during dedicated sessions during which exchanges on technologies used, results and potential future collaborations are made between experts from around the world.

These sessions are an opportunity for PhD students at the Institute to get in touch with researchers from other countries to do a post-doctorate, an essential step today to get a research position.

These meetings are also essential for the team leaders and principal investigators (PI) of the Brain Institute as they allow them to identify the talents of tomorrow and to recruit them for a PhD (thesis) or a post-doctorate. It is also during these peer-to-peer meetings that collaborations are forged between colleagues from all over the world.

Each year, researchers from the Brain Institute participate in numerous international conferences in general fields such as neuroscience, but also in more specialized fields such as cognition and genetics, and also more focused on the diseases studied at the Institute.

Do not hesitate to come and meet the teams of Paris Brain Institute: a stand presenting the Institute will be available in the dedicated area.
