"Trnas: Architects Of Brain Development "
How does a seemingly uniform pool of neural progenitors generate the extraordinary diversity of cortical neurons? Beyond transcriptional programs, our work highlights translational control—and particularly tRNAs—as a key regulator of corticogenesis. Using in vivo models and tRNA profiling across development, we uncover how tRNA abundance and modification shape neuronal migration, fate acquisition, and cortical maturation. These findings position tRNAs as active players in brain development and provide new insight into the molecular basis of neurodevelopmental disorders.
