Sympathetic nervous system: A group of neurons involved in the functioning of the sympathetic nervous system, activated under alert and stress.

Occipital lobe :: The brain lobe at the back of the skull.
Olfactory helium :: The most superficial layer of cells in the nasal cavity.
Oligodendrocyte :: Brain cell which produces the myelin surrounding the axons of neurons.
Omics :: A set of global biological disciplines that analyze all the components of a biological system (cell, tissue, organism)
Optogenetics :: Biomedical technique of introducing a gene into a cell that produces a photosensitive molecule, which can be activated by light stimulation without disturbing neighbouring cells.
